About ITC Rajputana, Jaipur
ITC Rajputana is a five-star luxury hotel in Gopalbari, built in the style of a traditional Rajasthani haveli with a red brick exterior, a central atrium and secluded courtyards. It sits in the middle of Jaipur rather than on the Kukas resort belt.
Location is its clearest advantage. Jaipur Junction is 0.65 km away, about five minutes, so guests arriving by train are at the venue almost immediately. Albert Hall Museum, the City Palace and Hawa Mahal are all a short drive rather than an expedition.
Suryavanshi Mahal is the main wedding space, a pillar-less air-conditioned hall holding 450 guests theatre style and 550 at a reception. Soundproof partitions divide it into three separate halls, so a mehendi and a sangeet can run at the same time without either hearing the other.
Hawa Mahal is the open-air terrace and the largest space on the property at 7,266 sq ft, holding up to 500. It is where the sangeet or cocktail evening usually lands, with the city around it rather than open countryside.
The Resident Lounge takes up to 70 with its own 100 sq m attached terrace, which suits a family dinner or an intimate mehendi. The poolside handles a cocktail evening for up to 300.Smaller spaces cover the rest. A pre-function area, a boardroom and two meeting rooms give the families somewhere to plan and the vendors somewhere to work.
Worth knowing plainly: ITC Rajputana is a city hotel with no wedding lawn. If you want a 1,000-guest outdoor pheras, this is not the property. If you want 500 guests, city access and consistent five-star banqueting, it is one of the strongest options in Jaipur. The stay runs to 218 rooms and suites, the largest room count of any venue we work with in the city, so even a large guest list stays on site without spilling into nearby hotels.
Worth knowing before you plan: catering, decor, DJ and alcohol are all in-house. ITC does not permit outside vendors, so you work with their teams throughout. Havan is allowed. Parking runs to 100 cars with valet service, which is tight for a 550-guest function in a city location, so guest transport needs planning.
ITC also offers Green Banquets, its lower-carbon banqueting option using locally sourced food and hotel-bottled water, which is unusual in this market and worth asking about if that matters to you.
October to March is the window, and being largely indoors makes ITC Rajputana less season-dependent than the lawn venues on a Destination Wedding in Jaipur. The Hawa Mahal terrace is the only weather-exposed space, and the ballroom absorbs it if the evening turns. December and January book out early, so plan eight to twelve months ahead.
Destination Weddings India works directly with the property and manages venue booking, room blocks, decor and on-ground coordination end to end.
