About Le Méridien Jaipur

Le Méridien Jaipur is a 25-acre Marriott resort at Kukas, on the Delhi Road side of the city and right beside the Amer Fort belt. Guests get the royal Jaipur setting without driving through city traffic to reach it. Nine event spaces sit across the grounds, which is the real reason this property works for a multi-day wedding. Every function gets its own setting and nobody moves between venues.

The Amer Lawns is the headline space at 50,000 sq ft, the largest wedding lawn on the property and among the largest in Jaipur. Aravali Lawn 1 at 7,300 sq ft takes up to 250, which is the right size for a haldi or mehendi. Indoors, the Amer Ballroom holds up to 550 across 6,457 sq ft, air conditioned and pillar-free, and it is where the sangeet usually lands. Diwan E Aam takes up to 270 and Diwan E Khas up to 200, so two smaller functions can run at once.

Amer Court is the open courtyard at 4,456 sq ft for up to 150, and the poolside takes up to 300 for a cocktail evening. There is also a boardroom for eight, which matters only if the families need a planning room. The stay matches the scale. 126 rooms, suites and villas including a 3,767 sq ft two-bedroom presidential suite, so the full guest list stays on site. Being Marriott-managed, the banqueting and service standards are consistent in a way heritage properties sometimes are not.

Worth knowing before you plan: catering and alcohol are in-house only, but outside decorators and an outside DJ are permitted. Havan is allowed. Music cannot run late, and overnight events are not permitted, so the sangeet and reception need to finish at a reasonable hour. The resort is 29 km from Jaipur International Airport and 22 km from Jaipur Junction, both around 40 to 55 minutes depending on traffic. Amer Fort, Jaigarh Fort and Jal Mahal are all close, which is why Kukas has become a hub for a Destination Wedding in Jaipur.

October to March is the window. Days stay pleasant and evenings cool enough for the lawns to run late. April to June gets too hot for afternoon functions in the open. Through the monsoon, the Amer Ballroom and Diwan E Aam carry the indoor load. December and January book out early, so plan eight to twelve months ahead. Destination Weddings India works directly with the Le Méridien Jaipur events team and manages venue booking, room blocks, decor and on-ground coordination end to end.
