About Ananta Spa & Resort, Jaipur
Ananta Spa & Resort is India’s first Japanese-themed resort, set across 28 acres of landscaped gardens in the Aravalli foothills at Kukas on Delhi Road. The naming runs through the property: Sakura for cherry blossom, Ikigai for purpose, Satori for awakening, Suijin for the water deity. That theme is the reason to choose it. Every other palace and resort in Jaipur sells Rajputana grandeur. Ananta offers calm symmetry, water features and a full destination spa alongside the wedding, which is a genuinely different proposition for a three-day celebration.
Ikigai Garden is the largest space at 40,000 sq ft, holding 500 seated or 800 standing. It takes the pheras under open sky with the hills behind it. Satori Garden is the second lawn at 25,000 sq ft, used for welcome evenings, cocktails and pre-wedding functions where atmosphere matters more than headcount. Indoors, the Sakura Banquet Hall runs to 16,000 sq ft and takes 500 seated or 800 standing, the full weather backup for either lawn. The Yuri Banquet Hall at 8,000 sq ft handles mehendi evenings and large indoor receptions.
Smaller rooms cover the rest. Mini Banquet takes 80 seated and Kissaten 60, both suited to a family dinner or a haldi. There is also a Suijin space beside the pool for larger outdoor functions. The spa is the differentiator most couples underrate. For a bride who wants treatments in the days before the wedding, or guests who want a massage between the sangeet and the pheras, Ananta handles it on site rather than sending people out.
The stay runs to 160 rooms and suites, from a 600 sq ft Ananta Manor to a 3,700 sq ft Presidential Suite. A full resort buyout starts at 150 rooms, which is the arrangement most wedding parties take. Shio, the main restaurant, seats 245, so the whole party dines together without a marquee. Worth knowing before you plan: outside decorators and an outside DJ are both permitted, which gives you real control over how the property looks and sounds. Catering is handled in-house with customisable menus.
Ananta sits about 42 km from Jaipur International Airport, roughly an hour and ten minutes, on the Delhi Road side. It is further out than Le Méridien or Fairmont on the same belt, which is what buys the 28 acres. Amer Fort and Nahargarh Fort are both within reach for a Destination Wedding in Jaipur where guests want excursions between functions.
October to March is the window. Days stay pleasant and evenings cool enough for the gardens to run late. April to June gets too hot for afternoon functions in the open. Through the monsoon, Sakura at 16,000 sq ft carries the indoor load comfortably. December and January book out early, so plan eight to twelve months ahead.
Destination Weddings India works directly with the property and manages venue booking, room blocks, decor and on-ground coordination end to end.
