We’ve been planning weddings in Jaipur for years now.
And every single time a couple calls us asking about Jaipur venues, the conversation goes one of two ways. Either they’ve done too much research and are paralysed by options. Or they’ve done too little and have somehow convinced themselves that one specific palace, usually Rambagh is the only venue worth considering.
Both situations end up in the same place. Confusion. Stress. And a lot of back and forth that could have been avoided.
So we decided to write the guide we wish existed when we started. No fluff. No vague “Jaipur is magical” paragraphs. Just real information about every venue we work with, what things actually cost, where to shoot your pre-wedding, and how to plan the whole thing without losing your mind.
If you’re planning a destination wedding in Jaipur, this is the only guide you need.
We’ve planned weddings at every venue in this guide. Skip the confusion, one conversation with us and you’ll know exactly where to get married.

Why Do So Many Couples Choose Jaipur for Their Destination Wedding?

We get asked this constantly. Especially by couples who are torn between Jaipur and Udaipur.
Here’s our honest take after years of planning in both cities.
Jaipur wins on variety. No other city in India gives you this many palace venues across this many budget levels. You can get a genuine 450-year-old fort palace in Jaipur for ₹54 lakh. That same category in Udaipur starts at ₹75 lakh minimum. The architecture is different, Jaipur is more Rajput and Mughal, Udaipur is more around the lakes but in terms of sheer visual impact for weddings, Jaipur competes with anyone.
The logistics work in your favour too. Jaipur has a functioning international airport. It’s 280 km from Delhi, most of your North India guest list can drive there. The city has enough hotels at every price point that even large families with varied budgets can all be accommodated within 15 minutes of each other.
And then there’s the culture. The dhol players who show up at 6 AM for the baraat. The folk musicians at the cocktail hour. The dal baati churma at the welcome dinner. In Jaipur, all of this is the default setting, not a special add-on you have to hunt for and pay extra for.
How Jaipur Compares to Other Destination Wedding
| Factor | Jaipur | Udaipur | Goa |
| Palace Venues Available | 15+ | 15+ | None |
| Budget Starting Point | ₹54L | ₹75L | ₹54L |
| Airport Connectivity | Excellent | Good | Excellent |
| Max Guest Capacity | 3,000+ | 1,200 | 1,500 |
| Culture Factor | Very High | Very High | Moderate |
| Distance from Delhi | 280 km | 665 km | 1,400 km |
| Vibe | Royal + Grand | Romantic + Lakeside | Relaxed + Beachy |
| Value for Money | High | Moderate | High |
One more thing that doesn’t get said enough. Jaipur is 15 to 25% more affordable than Udaipur across comparable venue categories. If you’re working with a ₹70 lakh budget, that difference buys you a significantly better experience in Jaipur than the same money gets you in Udaipur.
We help couples plan destination weddings in Jaipur across every budget range. The venue is always the first conversation and it’s the most important one.
Jaipur has venues for every budget. Finding the right one for yours is where we come in.
What Are the Top 15 Wedding Venues in Jaipur? Our Complete 2026 Venue Guide
The best venue for a 2,000-guest royal wedding is completely different from the best venue for an intimate 80-person fort ceremony.
What we’re giving you here is the real information on every venue we work with, capacity, cost, what makes it special, and who it’s actually right for.
Palace Wedding Venues in Jaipur
1. Rambagh Palace
India’s Most Famous Wedding Venue

Let’s start here because everyone always asks about Rambagh first.
Built in 1835. Originally the home of the queen’s handmaiden. Then a royal guesthouse. Then the official residence of Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II and his queen Maharani Gayatri Devi. Today it’s a Taj property and it hasn’t lost a single gram of its original weight.
We’ll be honest. Rambagh is in a category by itself. When we take couples for a site visit here, something happens to them in the first ten minutes. The hand-carved marble jalis. The Mughal Gardens. The scale of the Naksha Garden which can hold 2,000 people under the open sky. You stop talking about logistics and just stand there for a bit.
That said, it’s not for everyone. The pricing puts it in the ultra-luxury bracket. And because it only has 43 rooms, larger families will need to arrange accommodation at nearby hotels. Those are real considerations.
| Rambagh Palace – Key Details | |
| Address | Bhawani Singh Rd, Rambagh, Jaipur |
| Total Rooms | 43 rooms and suites |
| Airport Distance | 4.4 km – closest major palace to the airport |
| Station Distance | 4 km |
| Max Capacity | 2,000 guests |
Wedding Venues Inside Rambagh:
| Venue | Area | Capacity |
| Naksha Garden | 95,874 sq ft | 2,000 |
| Mughal Garden | 23,508 sq ft | 800 |
| Maharaja Mahal | 10,494 sq ft | 800 |
| Panghat Lawn | 8,320 sq ft | 350 |
| Sunken Lawn | 8,579 sq ft | 200 |
| Mughal Terrace | 6,081 sq ft | 200 |
| Oriental Garden | 6,479 sq ft | 250 |
| Maharani Mahal | large | 450 |
| Oriental Terrace | 1,560 sq ft | 50 |
Best for: Couples with a large budget who want India’s most iconic royal wedding backdrop. If Rambagh is in your budget, do it.
Some venues you visit and think “nice.” Rambagh you visit and think “this is the one.” Check if your wedding date is still available.
2. Jai Mahal Palace
18 Acres, 3,000 Guests, Two Restaurants Worth Talking About

Jai Mahal is the venue we recommend most often when couples want the Taj palace experience but need more capacity and slightly more flexibility than Rambagh.
18 acres of landscaped Mughal gardens. Former residence of three Prime Ministers of princely Jaipur. 94 rooms and 6 suites, significantly more accommodation than Rambagh, which makes the multi-day wedding logistics much easier.
The two restaurants here are genuinely worth mentioning. Cinnamon serves authentic royal cuisine from four princely states. Giardino is Jaipur’s finest Italian restaurant. For multi-day weddings where dining variety matters to your guests, this combination is hard to beat.
| Jai Mahal Palace – Key Details | |
| Address | Jacob Rd, Civil Lines, Jaipur |
| Total Rooms | 94 rooms + 6 suites |
| Airport Distance | 14 km |
| Station Distance | 1 km – most central palace venue |
| Max Capacity | 3,000 guests |
Wedding Venues Inside Jai Mahal:
| Venue | Area | Capacity |
| Palace Lawns | 75,175 sq ft | 3,000 |
| Poolside Lawns | 33,788 sq ft | 500 |
| Fountain Lawns | 25,349 sq ft | 500 |
| Lotus Pond | 6,200 sq ft | 100 |
| Durbar Hall | 1,206 sq ft | 150 |
| Celebration Lawns | 2,594 sq ft | 100 |
The Palace Lawns at 75,175 sq ft handling 3,000 guests is genuinely rare at this level of luxury. Most large-capacity venues sacrifice quality for scale. Jai Mahal doesn’t.
Best for: Large families needing 200 to 3,000 guests, wanting Taj hospitality, with guests staying on-property.
18 acres. Your entire family in one place. One evening nobody will forget. Your Jai Mahal date might still be open.
3. Samode Palace
475 Years Old and Still the Most Photographed Wedding Venue in Jaipur

Samode is 42 km outside Jaipur city. We always mention that upfront because couples sometimes get put off by the distance. Don’t be.
Once you’re at Samode, the distance becomes the point. It’s its own world, a 475-year-old palace in its own village, surrounded by the Aravalli Hills, with ancient murals on uneven walls and folk musicians who appear seemingly from nowhere at cocktail hour.
Every photographer we’ve worked with says the same thing about Samode, they can shoot here all day and not repeat a single backdrop. The painted chambers, the terrace gardens, the inner courtyards, the lawns, each one is a completely different visual setting.
| Samode Palace – Key Details | |
| Location | Samode Village, near Jaipur |
| Total Rooms | 43 rooms |

| Venue | Area | Capacity |

One thing to plan carefully because it’s a distance from the city, guest transportation needs to be arranged properly. We handle this for every wedding we plan at Samode. Coach transfers, timing coordination, the whole thing.
Best for: Couples who want total privacy, authentic heritage, and don’t mind being away from the city bustle.
475 years of history as your wedding backdrop. Couples who choose Samode never wonder “what if.” Check availability for your wedding date.
4. Jaibagh Palace
Aravalli Hills, Flexible Venue Sizes, 63 Rooms

Managed by the Bayan Group, Jaibagh Palace sits amid the Aravalli Hills and is one of the more underrated venues in our Jaipur portfolio. The reason we recommend it so often is flexibility, it has more venue size options than almost any other palace property, from an 80-person banquet hall to a 1,600-person lawn.
| Jaibagh Palace – Key Details | |
| Location | Aravalli Hills, Jaipur |
| Total Rooms | 63 rooms |
| Airport Distance | 29.8 km |

Multi-cuisine dining, poolside experiences, wellness facilities, guests can spend two to three days here and genuinely not feel the need to go anywhere. For destination weddings where you want your guests fully immersed in the property, Jaibagh delivers that.
Best for: Mid-budget palace weddings needing flexible venue sizes and Aravalli scenery.
Aravalli Hills. Palace setting. Mid-range budget. The kind of wedding your guests talk about for years. Check if your date is available at Jaibagh.

That combination, genuine heritage fort feel, massive outdoor capacity, 125 rooms for guest accommodation is unusual in this price range.

How Much Does a Wedding in Jaipur Actually Cost?
We get this question every single week. And the honest answer is, it completely depends on three things. Your guest count. Your venue choice. And your season.
That said, here are real numbers from weddings we’ve planned.
Overall Budget Ranges
| Average Cost – 100–150 Guests – Min to Max | 27 Lakh – 1.05 Cr |
| Average Cost – 200–250 Guests – Min to Max | 45 Lakh – 1.75 Cr |
| Average Cost – 300+ Guests – Min to Max | 54 Lakh – 2.1 Cr |
Prices are indicative and vary based on venue availability, wedding season, vendor selection, catering package, decor complexity and booking timeline. Final costs are always confirmed after a detailed consultation.
Where the Money Actually Goes
| Expense | % of Budget |
| Venue + Food + Stay | 60% |
| Decor | 15% |
| Entertainment | 5% |
| Sound & Light | 5% |
| Photography & Video | 5% |
| Logistics | 3% |
| MakeUp Artist | 3% |
| Other | 4% |
Five Costs That Catch Couples Off Guard
- Alcohol. Most premium venues don’t allow outside alcohol. Budget for this separately.
- Guest transport. If your venue is outside the city, Samode, Alila, Chomu, Mundota, you’re arranging transfers. This is a real cost that gets missed in early budgets.
- Room buy-outs. Some palace properties require you to block all rooms for property exclusivity. It’s worth it for the privacy but it adds to accommodation costs.
- Decor at heritage venues. Many heritage palaces have restrictions on drilling, hanging, or altering the structure. Your decorator needs to know this upfront. It affects what’s possible and what it costs.
- Peak season pricing. The same venue can cost 20 to 30% more in December versus February. If your date is flexible, that flexibility has real monetary value.

Frequently Asked Questions About Wedding Venues in Jaipur
Which is the best wedding venue in Jaipur?
Depends entirely on what you need. For heritage prestige and a large budget, Rambagh Palace. For the best combination of capacity and royal atmosphere, Jai Mahal or Fairmont. For complete privacy in a genuine heritage property, Samode or Alila. For the largest outdoor capacity at accessible pricing, Le Meridien or Galaxy. We never give one answer without knowing your guest count and budget first.
How much does a palace wedding in Jaipur cost?
Palace weddings in Jaipur range from ₹20 lakh at heritage properties like Chomu Palace to ₹2.5 crore or more at Rambagh. For a 2-day wedding with 150 to 200 guests at a mid-tier palace, ₹40 to 70 lakh is a realistic working range. Variables are guest count, catering choice, and how many nights of accommodation you’re blocking.
Is Jaipur cheaper than Udaipur for weddings?
Consistently 15 to 25% more affordable across comparable venue categories. Jaipur also has significantly more venue options, which means more availability flexibility and more negotiating power on pricing.
Can I do a pre-wedding shoot at Amber Fort?
Yes. Professional shoots require a permit, ₹5,100 for 2 hours from 8 AM, or ₹15,000 for 1 hour before 8 AM. Arrive by 6:30 AM for the best light before tourist crowds. Permits can be arranged 1 to 2 days in advance through your photographer.
What is the most affordable heritage wedding venue in Jaipur?
Chomu Palace and Ananta Spa & Resort both offer genuine heritage character at ₹20 to 50 lakh. Chomu Palace specifically gives you 16th-century Rajput architecture with 160 rooms, the largest room inventory of any heritage palace we work with.
How many days should I plan for a Jaipur destination wedding?
Two days minimum. Most couples do three, Day 1 mehendi and sangeet, Day 2 ceremony and reception, Day 3 farewell brunch and Amber Fort visit. International families or very large gatherings often extend to four or five days.
What is the best month for a wedding in Jaipur?
November is our recommendation for most couples, ideal temperature, good venue availability, full wedding season atmosphere without the December crunch. If you want December, start planning 12 months ahead minimum.
How do I book a wedding venue in Jaipur?
The most practical route is working with a planner who has direct relationships with the venues, it saves negotiation time and ensures you’re getting real availability and pricing rather than brochure numbers. Peak winter dates require a deposit to hold. Start this 10 to 12 months before your date.
